Rebecca Stanizzi is a caring and friendly Certified Nurse Midwife/Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (CNM-APRN) in Leesburg, Virginia. Her commitment to quality care is foremost on her mind as she sees and evaluates patients. Her clinical interests include the care of women throughout the life span as well as the management of contraceptive technology.
Rebecca earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Rivier University in 2011 and her master's degree in nurse-midwifery from Shenandoah University in 2017.
She approaches individuals with compassion and positivity. Her exceptional work ethic and passion for patient care ensures you will be satisfied with thorough care. Rebecca is eager to utilize her expertise to provide midwifery modeled and advanced practice care. She offers our patients the highest level of patient and family centered care through education, empowerment, and advocacy.
Her clinical background includes nearly a decade of experience in primary care, medical surgical nursing and care of the well woman throughout her lifespan. Rebecca has attended laboring women- taking them through delivery and postpartum care in both hospital and birth center settings. She has taken on leadership roles as a charge nurse at St Joseph’s Hospital in Nashua, NH and a clinical instructor guiding nursing students at Rivier University.
She is committed to working with women to achieve their personal and optimal health goals. Through her nursing and advanced practice careers she will continue to provide our patients with a level of compassion and respect that fosters a mutual working relationship.
Outside of work, Rebecca enjoys jogging, yoga, crafts, and travel.
